When I started this blog I was stuck wondering without a lot of answers or direction. For some time now, I’ve wondered and wondered. Did I get all my answers? Not even close! But I started learning how to survive the wonder. Figuring out how to ask questions without losing my faith, live life intentionally, and let the light of others into my life is all easier said than done!
But I realized this in the process: I don’t believe wondering about our personal beliefs or wondering where God is in our life is all bad. I don’t believe asking questions should be discouraged in order for us to be “faithful”.
Instead, I see wondering as a necessary art we must master.
Sometimes “wonder artists” like you and me fail by asking questions to merely prove a point of weakness in a belief system. Other times we wonder because we can’t survive without the truth. I’ve found that when the meaning of life depends on finding answers an incredibly powerful and defined purpose follows. I’ve also found a lot of value in coming together when stuck wondering.
So I hope you’ll wonder with me!
When you do I’ll share my thoughts! Not because my thoughts are entirely invaluable, but because experiencing life together is far better than simply wondering all on our own.
I hope together we can ask our worries away!
