Because of Fear By Rikki Brase She can't love, because of fear She can't make friends, because of fear She can't trust, because of fear She is alone, because of fear Fear as a condition A horrible condition In need of tending In need of caring No one tending No one caring No one capable of holding her, she fears.
The way I used to fear pales in comparison to the way I experience life today. Sometimes I am shocked that I am even the same person that couldn’t leave my house, hated social settings, looked over my shoulder with every third step and constantly felt under attack and isolated. When I was there I never really thought I would get past it. I really thought this fear was something that would last for the rest of my life. I am so so grateful that I am not there anymore.
That being said, I know some people still sit here in this stuck place. Your timetable may look different, but today I hope you find the strength in God to hold onto hope.
This won’t be your forever!
